I really feel that the cam drum inside can be reground to allow more fuel into the piston chamber which will also increase injection pressure for bigger injectors. I may be all wrong I don't know thats why I posted this to see if anyone had been inside one and modified it. and if they did how it was done I still think there is plenty of room for improvments.

also everyone talks about these boxes but nobody takes one apart and tells evrybody how to build one for $20 either. I will honestly probably p-pump my truck but I want to help the little guy that doesn't have $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in there walet

You must be talking about volume because injection pressure is controled by the injectors not the vp44.

It's not going to happen - the VP44 is simply not capable of fueling down low like a P7100, nor coming close to matching a CP3 at higher RPM... even hi-po versions like HotRods & Monsters don't make a huge difference and they often cause poor idling/drivability.

Most of all, there's no way anything significant can be accomplished on the cheap - for $100, you're better off having some VP88 decals made to stick on the 'board housings, and just roll with some Virtual Horsepower.

Yeah, it was Adam Winslett. And no it wasn't fuel only, he runs a lot of nitrous. IIRC at the last dyno day around here I was told he ran mid to low 600's on fuel.

Your talkin about without question the most complicated part of the whole truck with the least amount of tolerance for variation. Thousands of pounds of psi in there with gap tolerances of zero. Even the most expensive pump I've seen on the market personally was only $3200 and it is a custom build through BlueChip.

I'm still just not seein the need for more then is available. If your lookin at the 1200hp plus range I guess you have a point here but other then that I wish ya luck.
so what kinda pump did blue chip custom build exactly im very interested?

Yo would have to call Chip and ask him that. When your talkin about custom builds that's typically private info between the company and the client. All these guys that make a livin off of their trucks winnin don't like to tell the specifics of what's under that hood. But if you go to Blue Chip's website it explains what he offers, or better yet just post in his vendor section on this site and let him tell ya first hand.
