OEM injectors are designed to run within a certyain power band with no smoke. Add if different spray pattern and the fueling increases. If you drive it gently for the same level as stock performance - lighter on the skinny pedal - you will gain economy. If you drive the same way you did before you will loose that economy, sometimes very quickly.
RV's are a great way to get up 5 MPG increase. EDGE JAMMERS Stage 2 will do about the same. I have 150 HP Jammers and see a good increase in economy but this is because I use the skinny pedal gently. If I drove like a mad man - It would drop like a rock.
Also, finding something that will advance your timing (read Smarty Box) is a good thing. Finding something to control the new found smoke (read EDGE COMP) is also a good thing. Just my thoughts.

another great tool to gain mileage is to go full synthetic in your diffs and motor. I picked up .75 mpg just by changing my front and rear diffs to amsoil 75W-90 gear oil I track my mileage constantly and hadn't changed a thing other than the gear oil and where I was getting 16.5 I am getting 17.25-17.5. next step will be my motor and tranny.
