I need some advice. I have a choice of buying either a:

'93 W250, Cummins, 4x4, Automatic
or
'94 2500, Cummins, 4x4, Automatic

Both have slightly modded pumps, exhaust, intake.

I'm putting it in a '78 F250 Crewcab 4x4. It's a daily driver with only about 5% of the miles hauling this (When the Bronco is on my car trailer I weigh in at about 16,000 lbs):

Knowing that which transmission should I get?

With the whole non-lockup overdrive issue in the '93, should I go with the '94?

Let's not take into account the differences in the pump, cost, mileage, etc.
