^^ Very true. The HX35 is a mild upgrade over the HY35. You can generally pick one up shipped for $300 used.

my trucks a 5 spd and the waste gate is gone and they blocked the elbow off its a hx35 turbo i boost 35 when i had my smarty and tst it would boost 42psi

What's the difference between the hy35 and hx35 other than whet transmissions they're used with? Would it be a straight dropin or what would I need to do to make it work?
