remove fuel plate, take afc off and gut all internals re install, turn barrels all the way clockwise, take out delivery valve and use and angle grinder to take off the little ridge that goes around them then reninstall. pull out injectors be extremelly carefull with this get a 1/16" drill bit at about 175* and hone out the tips if you want a lope use different size bits on each inector that way it sounds like you have a big cam but its really just unbalanced turning the barrells all the way will help too then back off your timing to around 32* negative that is, make sure you disconnect you egt gauge as u will melt it, let me know how it goes!

What exactly do you mean by fuel hard down low and what is different inside the pump to cause this?

as in fuels harder than a 180-215 does on the lower rpms ... plungers are different in the 160/175's

Not trying to be a dick but did someone tell you this or did you see them and know for certain that the 160 pump has diff B&P then a 180
