There's always one in every group....too bad he's not the first
Wish I could find the post where someone said something along the lines of "go to your favorite grocery store and pick up a sixer of your favorite brew and a roll of duct tape. Request an individual plastic bag for each at checkout. Go home, drink said sixer, then put one of the bags over the air cleaner and tape it tight so no oxygen gets in to burn that precious fuel! Then tromp on throttle and enjoy smoke show. Then, take remaining bag, place over head and tape it tight so no oxygen gets in to fuel stupid thoughts like that."

hay, red_rattlered if you are still there you have probably figured out that blowing smoke is not one of the desired items for the diesel community. it makes diesels look bad and gives us a black eye (and lungs). it is one of the excuses the EPA/big brother government uses to stick us with the emissions junk and put such strict standards on the manufactures. our modern diesels are designed to burn cleanly and making it blow smoke is just stone age. it is fine for when you are at the strip but keep it clean around town
oh, and i would consider revising you public profile
