Default AFC Removal

soo me and a buddy got talking bout p pumps. he said something about how i should remove the afc completley and bolt in a piece of steel (so the oil dont splash out of the pump) in place of the afc. has anyone ever done this cuz ive never heard of it before. if i do do it, will it hurt the truck?
thanks.

It will be a smokey over-fueled mess. The only recommended complete removal of the AFC is for off-road competition/racing/sled.

Just tune it!

It will probably make as much or more power with the afc tuned than without an afc.

u can just gut the internals and put the housing back on but, this is generally done to pulling trucks, id say on the street your gonna make anybody behind you very mad haha
