Default 96 Build opinions

Hi guys, I'm planning on pulling my engine this summer and doing a new build. I am looking for between 450-500 horse. Here are my plans full rebuild, 3 angle valve job on the head and o-ringed, #60 VS, 12 mm head studs, 3 piece manifold, 63/68/14 screaming eagle turbo, 5x.012, 0 plate, 181 or 191 dvs. 18* timing. This will be a daily driver and minor towing. Thanks

might do 14mm studs too. if the engine is coming out and all. maybe main and rod studs while its out too. never know when you might want more.

Thats true seems to be the way these things go haha. What do you think about delivery valves better off with the 181s or 191s? I don't want to run into any EGT problems.

man you can make over 500 horse with 131 pretty easy. dv's can add bunches of power but LOTS of EGT'S. ide stay small maybe experement but my vote is for the 181's

Thanks man maybe I will just keep my 131s for a bit and see how the truck runs and what my temps are then maybe try some 181s down the road.

It needs a complete reseal. I have only had the truck since may and it was abused pretty badly before I bought it. I just think pull it out get everything done and then not have to worry about it again. I did buy the truck with intentions of pulling the motor and rebuilding it also.

If your pullin it man ... build it, do a compelete internal ***** out build, If money allows it of course. Wouldnet waste money on a 3 piece exhaust manifold, keep stock one and bore it out or buy a steed speed..
