Ppe lift pump

Ppe lift pump
I have a 95 dodge with everything that u see in my signature on it. I just picked up a brand new ppe lift pump for 180$ from my friend. I read it's a 160gph and up to 15lbs of pressure. I plan on putting comp dvs and 5x14 injectors. Maybe 5x16. Would this pump push enough fuel by itself to feed that or would it be better to run it with the mechanical on the block to. Or should I just get a 165 airdog or bigger

Your mechanical pump on the engine is your injection pump and the one your replacing is the lift pump pushing the fuel to your injector pump. So the mechanical injection pump must stay.. You are only replacing the lift pump supplying the fuel to it. And yes the 160gph pump should be able to handle the 5x14 and the 5x16 injectors. I am sure some one can chime in and explain it a lot better than I can.

i think so my friend accidentaly ordered two of them off of extreme diesel performance, and i plumbed in the one on his 01 6 speed. and told him if he gave me the pump for 180 we'd ne straight.. and i mainly bought it cause my dad has a 98.5 cummins and i figured it be nice to have a spare pump if he ever needs it but was just curious if itd maybe work on my 12 valve
