Default most timing i can run on 370 somewhat safe

I want to bump up my timing its at 15.5 im getting new injectors soon would i be safest to wait till I got new objectors or could i bump it up to like 22for acouple thousand miles untill i get injectors with the right. spray pattern could I **** **** up with that spary pattern and that much timing it does have the skinny washes in them?

Anything over 17.5 a regular 370 marine injector begins to spray out of the bowl. I would say leave it and go from there after you get some decent sticks but your gonna wanna retorque stock headbolts or put studs in for 22*.

Yea I got new heabolts torque down to 155

In my opinion, no more than 16*. Especially if u have thick copper seals and stock nozzle holders on your injectors.

We ran a highly modified set of marines in the Vette and 20* of timing. We ended up with a dead #5 cylinder but we are unsure if we can blaim that completely on the marine injectors.
