i have a 1997 cummins with the 47RE and i just rebuilt the trans with the stock rebuild kit then i decided to put a transgo shift kit in it and it ran good at first now i cant turn my over drive on and it says trans temp , but i have a temp gauge and its not even hot , it shifted fine for the first couple rides now its doing this and if i hit the button on my dash that says O/D off the light stays on and if i hit the button it wont go off and the trans temp like right by the wait to start lite comes on when i turn my key on ANY HELP IS APRECIATED THANKS !!!

 

Check your grounds outside and inside tranny sounds like bad electrical connections
