I wasn't asking if it would damage the ip; i've done my research and dont believe it will. What I was asking is;

is there more power to be made without the plate? Will it make less power? Is smoke an issue? Is durability an issue? Things like that.

 

Smoke will only be an issue if your afc is set to loose, as for power that all depends on your truck set up. no plate will flow more top end fuel that a numbered plate ( 4-12)

 

if u had done ur research, then u should have known the answer before u asked it. u ask for help, then u act like u know what ur talking about and u knew the answer before hand. this is a question that has been asked and debated 1000 times. if ur going to ask questions, be gratefull for the responses u get. not act like a ungratefull lil kid that knows it all. this is just my opion and im putting it out as friendly as i can and trying to give u advise.

And I'm not trying to be an *** here either, Mr. Ignorance.. but re-read my inital post. I wasn't debating if it causes IP damage or not; I wanted a performance/tuning/mileage comparison.

Because I asked what the operating differences were between plated and plateless? I see how you come to this conclusion...
