^Thats EXACTLY how I feel. This way when the hx35 is off, if its deemed rebuildable I can rebuild it then just sell it for what I buy this ebay hx40 for and break even

well the turbo bark IS NOT the turbine goin in the reverse direction. it is just slowing down at a dramatic rate. no way could it be spinning in excess of 10,000 rpm's and just reverse itself at the lift of the pettal. but barking them is bad none the less.

Well I installed my hx35 turbo you found me, Rattler. It was off an '01 and had a boost elbow gated to 33psi and no silencer. What a completely different animal. Its unbelievable. WOT and semi-WOT shifts sound sweeeet, and I can def. feel the additional boost over not having the elbow in there.

i would use the hx35 housing and put a hx40 hybrid kit in it..High Tech Turbo prob the cheapest fix.. and you get some more power
