Cool Stock springs

Stock springs are good for about 3200 RPM.
If you give the govenor 2 more clicks on each one you will come close to 3200
cost: 0

so if you were to give the 3k springs a few more clicks will it fuel like the 4k springs? i got mine set at .050 but if i set them to .o65 or .070 will it fuel like a 4k spring. the reason i ask is getting the side plug back in really kicked my butt as took FOREVER to get the threads to bite. wish i would have went with the 4k. can go in from the top to give a few more clicks.

you would get a few more rpm out of it and the throttle would be very touchy. If you want 4k's the inner spring is only $15

If you buy the pac brake brand, the 3k and the 4k are the same kit. According to the instruction I got, you just don't install the inner springs if you want the 3k. Although, I don't know about everyone else, but I rather do the installation once, and not twice.

So far, this is the cheapest price that I've seen online @ 90 bucks. Don't know what the shipping cost is, though.

You could go through the top where the fuel plate is.

Go through the top, getting that side plate off and back on is a huge pain in the rectum.

Yeah it kinda looks like it. I've been looking around the net for more install instructions for better insight, and the instructions I've found that goes thru the top, looks more trouble than it's worth. From the pictures there is this square block in the way, and you have to navigate all the parts past that intruding block. Plus you have to remove a lot more engine parts to take the top off.

Take a look: https://www.atsdiesel.com/PDF/3000_R...Springs_A1.pdf
color pictures are on the last pages few pages that show that square block.
