Default 3k or 4k gsk kit w/ only basic mods?

I've heard in order to run the 4k gsk you need headstuds and a better headgasket? Are there any performance gains to running the 4k over the 3k w/ just the basic mods that I plan to do in my signature?

no you dont... to run 4k you need 60lb valve springs... i recommend the 4k over the 3k... alot more fun... but the 3k you dont need HD springs. the stock head gasket is fine with a 4k gsk.

So it doesn't need head studs?
I'm not so keen on changing the valvesprings .

Is it still impossible to over rev the motor w/ the 4k kit like it is stock?

Its a good idea ..but i run the 4k's without springs. just be carefull. just because you have 4k's dont mean you have to use them.

Or, that it's even remotely possible to "use" them.

What happens if the truck were to hit 4k accidently? Where do these trucks stop making power w/ basic mods?
