3k or 4k gsk kit w/ only basic mods?

Try this for an analogy: Pick up a baseball and heave it as hard as you can, as if you are a center fielder throwing for a play at home plate.
Now do the same thing with no baseball in your hand. That's basically what your engine is doing between 3-4k rpms.

i have a 4k kit...... much better than the 3k and you dont have to have springs..... just dont float the valves... they are all different but most i talk to not to go over 3200 but im guilty of this too...... i could float mine at 3800...... so its all in the driver.....

nope wrong section for that, have you ever ran the 4k springs? ... I dout it

Yes I would still run the 4ks, the truck will pull harder through the rpms, and be more responsive than the 3k kit.
I have ran 3k springs, 4k springs, and now 5k springs.
