Default Tell me which. Your opinions?

1994 12 valve
160 pump

Ported head and manifold

61mm Super HX40/35

3" downpipe, straight (and short) exhaust

19* timing

4x .012 300's (which I cant really seem to find, but have heard good things about)

or 5x .012's (which are everywhere)

Not looking for massive power, but I am looking for clean burn and MPGs.
I do TONS of driving during the summer and I'm down to 25 mpg on my stock 160 injectors, which have 200,000 miles on them now...

Also, SAC or VCO? I understand the mechanical/physical differences between them, but not what that equates to in MPGs...

Thanks guys.

I would go with the 5x.012's sac may cost more but a much better result also would go with a better turbo than what you have listed

As of right now I'm limited to the turbo I'm running. I cannot fit a 4" downpipe.

However I am planning on doing a compound setup down the road....

not really interested in going big. Interested in staying clean and getting good Mileage. If it were up to me I'd run a nice clean set of 215 SAC's I think...

But the question is. 4 hole with higher pop off, or 5 x.012s

you can still stay clean and get good MPG with bigger injectors thats all in your tuning ... but 5 hole is the better choice

Ok.

I also just found the RV370s from DAP for $299. They are authentic Bosch. They have the 5x.012 VCO nozzles at 145 spray pattern, and are not the 155 marines. I think for that price I cant refuse....?

your sure there 5 hole? but thats a pretty good price if they are gonna assume there stock pop and lift could be low on fuel if your going with a good twin set up

I called them on the phone, and they said it was indeed a 5 hole x .012 vac design at 145*. Said it was a 12 valve RV design.

Eitherway, when I do twins, I wont be contemplating running these. BUt thats another year or so down the road at least. I'm tackling my transmission first.
