i have a 66 an mines spools at 1500, sounds like a fuel problem. try pulling out plate.

 

He already pulled his plate, said he took his #10 out...

I have a 62/65/16 secondary, and it's lighting up around 1500... and i'm way underfueled...

you have a boost leak issue !

 

First off thanks again for all of the help I have a 10 fuel plate in the pump right now. I was running no plate with the other turbo and injectors. I made the tool thing but did not have time to check for leaks. I ended up putting the truck into storage until I can make it back to California this summer. I work for Uncle Sam and he is having me move from California to Missouri. It will be nice to see some real tractor pulls this summer. My 3 year work in progress has been to build a mild pull truck. Now that I am going to be in Missouri don’t think I can keep up with those trucks. O well sometimes that’s how the cookie crumbles.
