So, a friend dropped by... said he had a turbo he wanted to give me, they had a 7.3 Powerstroke in for some tuning at his shop... got this brand new turbo and had the compressor cover off of it and were measuring the size of the compressor wheel, when they dropped it on the wheel so that two blades broke off, possibly bent an axle...

i think the turbo is otherwise okay, it spins fine so i doubt the axle on it has bent but they didn't want to risk it and got ordered a new turbo that's coming in tomorrow and he decided i should have it rather than having it thrown in the scrap bin

After a little google this seems like a racing application of some sort, it's HUGE !

Will post pictures sometime soon, wondering if i should take out my HX60 for this

I guess it will probably end up as some sort of an ornament though
