Default Disconnecting Lockup By Brake Pedal?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i'm trying to figure out how to disconnect the lockup by using the braking pedal to trip the momentary switch. i'm confused because your actually breaking ground, correct? do i use a standard 30amp relay, feed it power, then use ground side off the relay hooked up to the switch. will this trip the momentary switch? or will it feed through the switch down into the computer. i'm doing this on my 06 ctd
