Default Tow/Haul Button

I don't tow very much and when I do it is not a lot of weight. But when I have turned on tow/haul the shift pattern doesnt seem like it would help. 3rd gear is too short then. When it shifts to 4th quick and your still getting up to speed, does that not put a lot of strain on the motor and tranny that wouldn't help get the load moving?

I believe tow/haul increases line pressure so your not slipping the transmission, that w/ higher rpm shifts, so you don't bog the engine down as much.
