Default another turbo question

what would be the midrange hp difference between a 65 and 71 hot wheel on a 64 charger.

little to no hp difference but a better boost:drive pressure ratio with the 71

we like using a S300 in 64/68/14cm gated....with a smarty alone it spools quicker then stock and as far as drive pressure we have one on top of a S480 and it makes 70psi boost with 80psi drive pressure

we usually only use the 71 and 74 turbines on sled pulling rigs to help stay on top of the charger at the end of the track

thanx for the info,I have a 96 waiting for a complete rebuild with a 20 over bore then going back with the right stuff to make a dedicated puller.looking for 1300+hp this will be a two year project.Ill start with drive the line and set up over the next 9 months then start on the motor so keep in touch.

like i said looking to get 1300+ not saying ill get there, if i cant unload it with over 1000 ill stay home

i hope your planning on using the 64 as a top charger in a compound setup to get to that hp level, other wise i'd be looking at a S400 based charger with a billet 80mm wheel or larger

The 64 is on my 06; im pretty sure about the motor work ill need. its getting the air and fuel right.Im sure by the time i get ready ill have a good idea for the top half the real deal is to find stuff at a better than good price.like i said this is still months away but thanx for the info.Its good you are a vendor ill give you a call when i get to that point.
