Default starting problem

Ok I am new here and searching for an answer. Truck wont start in this cold weather when its been sitting. If its plugged in it will start with out a hasle. For it to start on a cold start I would have to spray it with brake clean, which I know its not the best way to do. Any ideas would be helpful and responses are welcome.

sounds like your grid heater relay's arnt working either the relays are bad, the fuse links are blown, or the air temp sensor isnt tellin them to come on....no check engine light?

I had a similar problem. when i'd turn my truck to on the heater would show as on and the volts would be around 9, when it shut off it would take a few seconds and i could hear a soleinoid close (sounds like one anyway) and the volts would come up to 12+ and i could start the truck. If i try to start it b-4 i hear that sound it cranks over two or three times and acts like a dead bat. If i wait for the sound and the rise in volt reading no problems.
