Last saturday i was driving my truck and heard a ping noise such as if the timing (like on a gasser) was advanced or retarded, or as if you run low octane gas in a high end motor. i proceeded to my friends house, and then checked the oil level and transmission fluid.... all was fine. i then un-programmed the smarty. When i went to start my truck, it would not start. It turns over and cranks, without even giving though about starting. no smoke of any color when i crank it, and checked the fuel water seperator also. clean.... any thoughts????

 

have you tried reprogramming the smarty?

 

as far as plugging the smarty into the computer, and then into the truck, no... but i did reprogram into the truck 2 or 3 times that day

 

Just a thought?

Did you just get Fuel? and may have get gas?
