Yep, you have a G56. Great big aluminium beast. I dropped a South Bend Dual-Disk #3600 in mine this last summer, and I love it. Got it, shipped and all to Alaska, for $1400. Installed it myself. Biggest deal is you have to grind a little bit of the inner bell-housing fins off of the tranny to get the clutch to fit, but it's super easy, and not anywhere as bad as it sounds. And it comes with the .75" (3/4") upgraded hydraulics for that price, too. The grabbing force of that SB-DD is phenomenal! I HIGHLY recommend it if he is pulling anything at all, especially through any type of uneven or rough terrain.
