Default MBRP Cat Delete Pipe

About a year ago, I put on a MBRP cat back exhaust system. I am regretting not doing a turbo back.

1. Do you think I will be able to get the brackets off now to take the cat off without cutting it out and putting a delete pipe in it's place?

2. Do you think I will see in improvement in driveability or fuel economy?

Not sure on your first question as every truck is different and it's gonna come down to what kind of conditions your truck has been through to corrode the pipe on. I think just about anything is possible with enough penetrating lube and BFH's.
As far as your 2nd question, we've always seen a slight improvement in MPG and EGT's after removing a cat. (On an offroad, non registered vehicle obviously.)

Thanks Turbo on your observations. If I think the mpg will go up a little and I plan on keeping the truck for a long time, I might as well do it.
