Default Cat delete

Hey guys,
So I'm thinking about doing a cat delete to get a better sound and lower my egt's. I am not a welder so I will be using a clamp on straight pipe. What size pipe is the stock exhaust? Should I buy a cat delete pipe online or will autozone/advanced auto have straight exhaust pipe sections that I can clamp on?

Also, I have a SCT x4 tuner running only the canned tunes. I've heard that your truck needs to be tuned for the back pressure issue. Are the canned tunes sufficient enough?

Any advice would be helpful!

For the piping MBRP downpipe and cat delete will fit the OEM stuff just fine. You can swap the cat back in IF you need to in the future.
