Probably not a fueling problem if it's doing it while up to temp; could possibly be a problem with contaminated fuel.
Is the vehicle getting up to temperature?
Are you loosing coolant? Do pressure tests to look for a bad headgasket or a cracked cylinder head.
Could be low compression; do you have excessive blowby?
What year of vehicle are we talking about? Could be EGR if it's an EGR-equipped engine.
White smoke is a sign of fuel that isn't burning because it isn't getting hot enough.

its an 06 only has 45000 miles it dosent do it all the time i dont think im loosing any collant (ill have to keep an eye on it) no ecessive blowby and the vehicle is up to temperature when its doing it. ill keep you posted i think it may be the fuel i got diesel somewhere different today then where i normaly get it and it seemed to stop.
Could the temp outside have something to do with it blowing white smoke whe i get on it seems to be doing it more in the morning and at night when its chilly and not so much during the day when its about 70 out
also i wouldnt think it would but could a bad thermostat have something to do with it because my thermostat has been floppy and i thing it is going bad

my old 05 started doing this and it turned out to be a turbo. i took off the air cleaner boots and all and grab the center nut on my turbo and there was a lot of play in it took it to the dealer and they said the bearing was bad which caused the white smoke to pour out when under throttle. i would try to check that maybe???????
