Default Trans temperature sensor on 6 spd

putting a trans temperature sensor on a g56. Were would be the best place to put it

IMO I'd drill and tap near the drain plug! Unless you know someone that has knowledge of the layout inside to drill somewhere else! And I thought I had alot of guages!

Couple options:

Drill and tap the PTO cover (should be heavy enough to tap)...

Drill and install a B&M drain plug in the PTO cover...

Drill and braze a pipe collar to the PTO cover (most secure)...I did this to my NV5600.
