No, that was not what you said. I quote "Late 05...some of the early 05s still had fuel-bowl mounted pumps.". That statment is incorrect. ALL MY05 builds had a lift pump in the tank. Hold overs, if they exist because without documentation it is the same as BigFoot existing, are an anomalous 04.5 titled as an 05. Not the same thing.

Neither is it the same thing as an 05 with an NV5600. HALF the 05 manuals built had an NV5600. No anomaly, no learning curve, nothing weird there. Same transmission that was already in the truck for 2 full years. The DMF on the G56 in late 05 was the only learning curve there.

Most of the people that claimed at one time their 05 had a filter mounted pump were reading the 04 manuals without the updates for 05. When they dug under the hood something was missing.

Same thing as the guy above saying they started using in-tank pumps in 04, didn't happen. Retrofits did.

You can disagree all day and it doesn't change the facts. Nor does it change the fact you have many posts on the TDR detailing LP in the tank and discussing such.

Misinformation indeed.

But what do I know, I still own 2 of them, an early and a late 05.
