Default Worth It Or Not?

I recently added the diablo predater tuner to my 2007 dodge 5.9l dually. The tuner overall is a 6 out of 10 in my opinion. Not having the on the fly adjust sucks! The dodge tuner has 4 settings but you cant even run it in the third stage or have to baby it around so your not slipping the clutch. So i proceded to turn it down to the economy stage and it was better but still notice slippage if i really get into it. Take in to concern there is alot of smoke and noticable amount of increase in horsepower. OK so i hook up to a tandom axle landscape trailer bumper pull not more then 16 foot and my clutch slips when i get onto it very disappointed, yes i didnt put it on the tow stage but my gosh this is a diesel for gods sake. My mileage while towing that overhead was saying 11.4 sacred to even do it on paper. I have yet to tow anything else so i havent put it in tow. I haul race horses on the side, so i generally pull a five horse tgoosneck with a sleeper. I will put it in tow but i am worried about the clutch and gas mileage etc.. One other concern is that when i take my truck out of gear it idles at 900 rpms for a bit then kicks down to the normal idle speed kida weird. O yea one more thing"the list continues with this tuner" My overhead says i get 17.3 and can travel 565 miles but i can only go a hair over four hundred. If there is anyone that takes the time to read this send me some info back on what u would do. Send it back u tell me..

First, the overhead is never correct, second, adding any more than stock hp and the clutch is not going to take it. Sorry to say it you gonna need a clutch, and its the only to get the power to the ground. It sounds like your getting good power from it but its just your drivetrain that cant, i think once you get that done you should be much happier with it. Let me know if i can help get you a clutch, got some good deals on valair. Chad UDP
