Ignition Switch OFF Engine continues to Run 24v 2001

-Sarafin
it's a turbo timer.
it waits till the EGTs get cooled down enough before engine shutdown to protect the turbocharger.
my truck usually takes a minute or two after key off to shut down. I have it set to shut off at 300* on the pyrometer.

We have physically disabled the EDGE and turbo time to test it and the problem still exists
has the truck always done this since the day you got it, or is this something that just started to happen on its own?
check to see if any wires are attached to the #15 fuse under the hood, or the #9 fuse in the dash.
if so the previous owner may have added an external turbo timer... power to those circuits will keep the truck running after the ignition switch is turned off.

mine has done this in the past it was the steering wheel tilt, it wouldn't turn the truck on or off if was in a certain position found out there is a little wire that runs behind the airbag, fixed the wire and never a prob since, hope this helps sir.
