I've got a marine +.020 and its seen its share of abuse without issue.

but you changed heads and gasket right...only common item left is the block. so maybe pulling it for fire-rings will be the best solution.

sorry to hear that i have been there done that blew oil every where just like yours put a new gasket on on it and it ended up being the block warped like 4 thousands
