Default Manual To Auto?

ok guys jsut kinda seeing if there is any intrest. i have a fully built NADP heavy hauler nv4500 with a southbend dd 3850 and i am kinda want to switch the truck to a auto i have close to 6k into this manual and would prefer to trade it for a decently built auto, for what i use the truck for i have realized the limit of the manual (drag racing and city traffic not so fun) but it has done amazing for me so far and has always served me well. the tranny has a filter on it and run amsoil oil so if interested or know of anything else id need to do the swap (ecm or get a complete stand alone controler) throw ito ut there thanks

thats alot of work, i have a friend who changed his 97 from auto to manual and its alot of time and work so changing from stick to auto would be crazy. if you do end up switching dont forget to change the input hub on the transfer case if you dont get a new one

I went the other way. From a slush box over to a stick.
You'll need to switch the pedals, steering column, transfer case.
You'll need to come up with a way to cover the big hole in the floor.
It's way easier to go from auto to stick.

wow, youre going to make a lot of work for yourself, also rember, you must have a ECU from an automatic truck inorder to swap over as well as the stuff listed above. you also have to run a cooler and lines. have fun, it can be done, itd just take a while.
