Im thinking maybe i should just buy a turbo that can handle constant 60-80psi with a aftermarket manifold, keep the hx35 and port it out to be able to reach no more than 40lbs to run it with a bigger turbo to help it spool or by the way the hx35 spools up crazy fast would i be good with just a single larger turbo with decent spool time? just throwing out some ideas here to help me get started in the right direction with all this. i havent had to go more in depth untill now so im not real sure how to make this all work. if im getting this much further in the game i fell like i might as well do it all with a bang.

You could use you HX35 as a top turbo in a set of compounds. I know it works really well.

what would be be a good turbo to go with my mods that i have listed in my sig? May end up going somewhat bigger on injectors someday. Also i just want to understand that i would need to do the mods to my hx35/40 as i have had listed above correct? even with the compounds?

How big of housing on your HX35/40? My total boost went down a bit when I went from a 12cm to a 16cm on my HX35/40. Still makes enough boost for my fueling, but mileage went up as drive pressure is down.

My housing is a 16

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i just know the way it is now it spikes fast to 50psi, quicker than i can let off the throttle before it gets to 40psi on my higher settings. so there is a ton of restriction very quick way more than what the turbo can handle if correct . especially when i got the tst turned up i cant go no more than lvl3 on it with out the turbo going into orbit, and id like to run it cranked up, just got to find the right set up and do whatever it takes

Does the ST have backdowns on it? I can set my Edge to limit my max boost. It's a temporary solution until you get a different turbo.

No it does not. this thing is a really aggressive box it has no timing its a fueling only box and i run my timing from my smarty. it turned the truck into a whole different machine i can catch a little bit of rubber going into 4th gear doing like 45mph and im rollin on 37's. it wouldnt have even thought about doing it before i hooked this thing up. i never thought the tst was going to affect everything as much as it has.
