Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Could be a pump problem. Have you checked fuel pressure? Where is your lift pump located? In the tank or on the frame rail?

 

its on the side of the bolck. i dont know wat my fule pressure is i dont have a guage or the tool to test it.

 

well i just checked the apps with a volt meter and it was reading 2.42 and the whit sticker on the back says it should b at .568 could that b the issue?

 

your truck could be starting in 2nd too you could have a valve body issue or your tv cable is too tight. try pulling it into 1st and see what happens.

 

i finaly got my truck to throw sum codes for me doin the key on-off-on-off-on and i got a 1693 pcm, 1698 ecm, and a 0122, i found sume codes on line and the 0122 is the apps volt is to low. i set it from 2.5 down to .586 like the sticker on the back said. could i need a new apps? and i also found out that the 1693 said generic fault in the bus or pcm/ecm interface. idk wat the pcm or ecm r. any ideas on where i should go from there? i couldnt find 1698 code

 

hey guys i have a 1999 Dodge 3/4 ton 2wheel drive it has a five speed in it and i was wondering if i was to put a diablo sport puck on my truck if it would make it smoke more or does anyone have any ideas hel plz.

Did you do it with the key on or off? It needs to be set with the key on. That 2.5 sounds like the reading I showed with my key off is the reason I ask, so if you did that you could have set it too low.
