Default Another about steering issues

I replaced upper and lower balljoints, tie-rods, steering stabilizer, track bar, and unit bearings back in March. Alignment done soon after. My question is why does the truck now require constant steering corrections as if it has "bump steer"? The ride, otherwise, is like new.

It didn't do that before you changed all those parts?

I never noticed it before. I took it to have the alignment check and the shop showed me all of the worn out parts. It was a little rough riding, but no steering problems, oddly.

Thank you! What I found was that I havent changed any control arm bushings if that were needed and the shop torqued my hub/unit bearings to 280ft. lbs. instead of a suggestion in your post to torque them to 175lbs. Any concerns about that affecting my steering?

Okay, thanks. I have been thinking of having the alignment checked again anyhow. It drives the same after the alignment as it did before I had it aligned from doing the work.

Okay, thanks! May be a good suggestion too. I'm going to have the alignment checked tomorrow to be sure.
