So I am not too familiar with the older Cummins trucks, I recently came across an 02 dually, extended cab, 84,000 miles for 6,500 bucks. Just curious if you guys think it is a reasonable deal? I plan to use it for a farm truck so I can keep my 08 a little cleaner. I would say the truck on a 1-10 scale, 10 best, is a 6. It was owned by an older guy who only used it a few times a year, the paint is faded and it needs tires, and I am sure a few minor mechanical things fixed. I own a collision shop so I will be able to do the work myself mostly. I am in the process of talking him down some more on the price, so just put in your two cents please.

Well I actually just bought it for 5,500 so I think I got a decent deal on it.

 

good price my 02 cab and chassis was $8000 with 50,000 on it
