Ok so i see alot of tranny problems, but nothing like mine.


So what my trans is doing wont go into first at all. If i put the truck into drive it will start of in 3rd. If i put it in to first nothing still in 2nd gear shift into 2nd still in second until i shift into 3rd. As i drive down the road RMPS keep going up and wont shift into 4th. so i am only getting 2nd, 3rd.

I was told by a Chrysler tech (who cant even fix a f**K*** sandwich) that it is a transducer (wouldn't that throw a code for that?) a gov pressure switch and gov temp switch. I don't think that going to really fix my problem but i could be wrong. I did have a code for 3-4 shift silenod but no CEL. Hopefully some one has been in foot steps before..

 

Hey I was gonna say solenoid before I even read the whole post... theres whole kits for 47re on ebay, seems to be happening to lots of people lately, including me, my kits in the mail now

 

.. it deff seems to be a big problem huh? My girlfriends uncle is a master trans tech for dodge< but he has been on vaca since i got the truck (nice life huh?). I really would like him to look at it before i got spending loads of money... let me know what happens with yours tho, N im still waiting to get those injectors ..
