Why do i usually only have dead pedal in 4th and 5th gear?

It may be in connection with RPM, but in no connection to the transmission it's self. If anything I would verify the sensor operation with a volt meter, verify the wiring to the ECM, and then look at verifying the pump is operating correctly. I dont really feel it has any association with the trans.
thats kinda what was thinking that its the drop in rpms. the apps is brand new timbo unit i put on yesterday and it still dead pedals and it seems the really do it when its the ambient temp is cooler.
because the dead pedal is your vp44, and temperature makes it lose conection on circut board. if you dont belive me put a piece of cardboard in front of radiator, and see what happens. You have to bite the bullet and buy new pump!
