not sure about that never noticed but all my pumps so far have been napa remans

 

i was havein the same problem in my 01 the only thing i can add is make shure its not the vac pump. i went throw 3 power sterring pumps an a rebild kit only to find out it was the seal between the two. cheap fix but will leave u stranded in a hurry

 

good post i finally got my bolts i needed they were a M10 with a 1.25 pitch just in case anyone wanted to know

 

If it's the seal between them you won't lose the ps fluid.
