Sorry I can't help ya out but my power steering pump is leaking in the same spot.
ya i top mine off and it will be bone dry in 3-4 hours im using a quart of fluid everyday and dont have another vehicle to drive so i have to get this fixed asap
are there any orings that you need to lubricate before you run it for the first time? Kinda like a rubber rear main seal in a motor, you have to lubricate it before you start it so you don't burn it up and cause it to leak right away. Just a thought :humm:

i think i found my problem theres like a little drian plug on the back of the pump and it only had a crappy plastic plug but my old pump never had one and it constantly leaks so im going to check my old pump and see if it has a plug for it
Mine looks like its leaking from around the shaft itself.
that sounds like a seal to me my buddy has got a 98 12 valve that has that problem and its the seal on the pump
thats what i thought. Sucks cause mine only has 55,000 miles on it
ya that does suck mines on its third but im up to 184,000
Is the pump itself made by Wabco? I noticed mine says that where it mounts to the gear case
