Mine did the same thing after my gasket replacement I downloaded the 3000 tunes blew my overdrive unit but it ran great before that.Its back together now I think its time to domload it again its not as wild as it was.My high idle has never worked did yours work good?

 

Here is the weird thing... So i DLd the 1k tunes after the head fix... But i installed them with my Windows 7 Laptop in Admin mode only... They went in SUPER FAST and DID check out ok when i hit Read Tune... However... I decided to put the 3k tunes in too. I could NOT get it to see the ADR so i put it in windows xp compatibility mode. It took a minute or so this time to WIPE and LOAD tunes. It also checked out GOOD! NOW my high idle works right again (1200 rpm). WTF? Did i get a bad/corrupt load maybe?
This happens at work with the robots sometimes when loading lots of software options at once so i KNOW its possible!
Anyway... Blowin_Smoke - yeah my high idle worked right in the begining, and appears to now. Ill let you know once she warms up.
