Default 2001 cummins programmer for fuel mileage?

i have a friend who is wanting to put a programmer or chip on his truck to get better fuel mileage. i was wandering if anyone had opinions on which one was the best for the truck and best for the price. hes not wanting to spend over 400 on this but doesnt want some backyard programmer. he wants something tested and proven to increase fuel mileage which is his only concern, hes not looking for something to make more power unless it does it while upping the mileage.

i have a 2000 cummins with intake and exhaust. I have a superchip programer(75hp) and i get 25mpg on the highway and the best iv got was 29. it adds just enough to have fun with but get great fuel milage and its less than 400. right around 3 i think.

Quadzilla Adrenaline... With the Pulse add on you can crank up the timing, kill the fuel and get some mileage! Take it off that to tow or youll blow it the F up tho!
Depending on your mods it also gives you almost all the gauges youll ever need... Fuel pressure sender is extra i think. Then youd be set!

Quad ADR w/ Pulse

Or

Edge Attitude w/ Juice!

Both give on screen "gauge" displays, have on the fly tuning. Can take you to the power levels you may crave when you get bored or stopped up next to some girl pant sagging emo kid in a Civic who wants to race.

However if you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch the Quadzilla has a SWEET feature to use IT as your color display!
