Default Pump issues

This is gonna be a long story so bare with me. Back in summer of 08' the stock injection pump took a dump so at the time, i got a local diesel shop to order me a new pump (since they got a discount for it) They called back and said they got a deal, you can get a injection pump and a fass system together. So got a fass 150 and a injection pump. The local diesel shop putted in the new stuff. Got the truck back, It didnt seem to have power, seemed like the stock pump had more. Went back to the shop and come to find out. The injection pump was defective. So got a new one and putted it in. It seemed like the same ol junk over again. Well went back to the shop and the shop wouldnt do anything, so i got ahold of the business that i got it from. Told them about it and seemed like the only thing they could do is act stuiped and do nothing. But im just trien to figure out if it is the pump or something else is wrong. Some info, it has proper FP 15-17psi. It starts fine when the motor is cold but when the motor is warm it takes about 6 to 7seconds to start. It gets around 14mpg(Thats with a edge juice with attitude on stage 3,90hp injectors, airbox, fass 150) and with the stock pump, i got 18mpg (thats with a plug and play chip and 90hp injectors) Also when i turn the edge up to level 3 i get better fuel milage then level 5.How is that? But im just trien to figure out whats the whole deal. But any help is greatly appricated!!

No one has any idea? Could a smaller pump cause this? for example the truck is a H.O. which is a 245hp pump(stock) and someone gave me a wrong pump like a 225 or a 235hp pump?

A S.O. pump on an H.O. truck shouldnt cause those issues.

Have you scanned for codes?

An SO pump should make MORE power than a HO pump on any truck, especially one with bigger injectors and a box, maybe it had an SO on it and they replaced it with an HO.

From the factory it was a H.O. pump and i dont know pump is on there now but i think im stuck with it because the place i bought it from wont do anything about it.

Would the electrics cause this?
