Try parking it with the nose of the truck downhill. Best way to diagnose an air leak. If it starts right up with no cranking after a few hours of the nose facing down then all you gotta do is find where the air is seeping in. If the nose of the truck is facing uphill and there is an air leak into the fuel lines/injector seals/banjo bolts, all the fuel left in the motor will drain to the tank and it will crank for a while because of o leftover fuel. bumping the key and letting the fuel pump run will prime the motor and re-introduce fuel so itll start easier. Thats the reason you have to stop, wait, and recrank to start it. You are definately not alone on this one. Good luck
