well im guessing the one they sent me is wrong.....I emailed them and were supposed to work it all out tomorrow......sorry for being a dumbass on my part

If they really did send ya the wrong one make sure they send you a new seal again to go with it. The one you just put in may or may not come back out in good shape.

Ok I'll remember that.....good idea to lock tight all the timing cover bolts?.....Im def not looking forward to doing this all again

Not talkin about loctite on all the cover bolts, use the blue if you do these. When you pull that cover along with that bolt your pullin to put your tab in place you will see several more just like it scattered around inside there. You need to at a minimum check to see that they are all still tight. That's all I did, but in an ideal world I guess you would pull those and loctite them. I'm not goin there myself cause some of em are a buggar to get to if you had to put em back in.

The case bolts will do more damage than the dowel pin if you get one in the gears. We're talking boken cams and such.

Yes, were talking about the bolts that actually hold the timing case to the block not the ones that hold the timing cover on the case.
