Like your A/C? If so, change your fan belt.

If you have an Air Dog or FASS fuelpump and have removed the factory fuel filter the two bolts on the intake plate the hold the bracket for the factory filter are too long to tighten back down, that is where my gasket let go on mine. You need to have some washers under those bolts to make them hold the intake plate. The gasket can be changed by removing the number one fuel line only, you don't have to take them all off. The plate will slide out towards the front of the truck, take a little wiggling but it will come.

 

Yep wish I saw your post but I figured mine out pretty quick a few days after the noise started got to lookin and realized I had just put the bolts back and so I got some big nuts under the head of the bolt and the noise quit and boost went back up. Didn't blow the gasket just whistled pretty good. Clamped them down good to go.

 

ya but i have good boost #s i hit 30 psi easy when i hit it.
