Thanks guys, trans was out of warrenty so I'm having a local freind that owns a diesel shop rebuild it for me. We tore it apart today and it needs an input, syncs, bearings, countershaft, fifth gear nut, and a few other little odds and ends. I should get bye at under a grand with almost everything new in it. I am allergic to bees just not bad enough for them to justify giving me an epie pin. I dont have breathing problems I just swell horribly.

Thanks again, trans should be done by saturday I hope. Took 45 minutes to beat the input off of it. Took another 45mins to get the 5th gear off of it. Guy looks at me and told me he has never in all his life seen a 5th gear on there that well.

Just so you know he has no parts now. He told me that the other day.

As of 9:30 last night I'm back on the road. New input, bearings, syncs, Counter shaft, Aimsoil and a few other odds and ends cost me $848 dollars. This was having case cleaned and inspected, reasembly, labor and all parts. I also installed new upper balljoints while it was apart. Took me longer to do the balljoints then it did to install the trans.
