Can anyone tell me how to verify if my transmission is a 47RE. I know that it was rebuilt before I bought the truck and the original info on the truck says it has a 47Re. Is there a way to verify that off the number on the side of the trans? The number looks like it is F152119850AB 3479 6786 Thanks.

 

If youre talking about your 01 - its definitely a 47RE

Thanks for the info....is there any way to know if someone just rebuilt a 46RE and swapped it out with the original 47RE?
